BRITISH GP - SILVERSTONE Photos

Boiling day today at Silverstone. Arrived at around 10:15 and saw the first F1 Practice, then the second in the afternoon with the GP2 after that, then decided to head out to beat the rush.

In first practice, M Schumacher spun right in front of me coming out from under the bridge at Bridge corner. Fisi had a spin at Stowe and in the GP2 one of them beached it in the complex.

^^ Jenson has a special helmet for the world cup.

^^ Had a go with a lower shutter speed to try and capture some speed.

^^ Tried a few different shooting orientations.

^^ Renault have a fancy scheme on the car again.

^^ Abit of action in the GP2.

Very nice action shots! Will be a great weekend ahead for sport. I love the purple paint job on one of the helicopters, look nice when the sun hits it!

Sitting at Abbey Chicane, so that should be good.

Today - were on the start/finish straight in practice 1, and Vale in Practice 2.

Wont put photos up, as these photos you guys have on, put my camera to shame lol

Im looking at getting a decent camera soon so i can take shots similar to what has been posted on here, so what cameras have you all got?

Abbey seems quite good, first time I've been there for the F1 but you could really see the deceleration of the cars and the brakes glowing, although I couldnt get a snap of that.

Pictures 2,3,4 & 5 were taken from the Abbey grandstand yesterday.

The camera I have is a Nikon D70s, initially I have a 18-200mm lens on then switched to my 70-300mm lens for the afternoon at Abbey.
