Me old dears BT BB stopped working today.. The DSL light on the router is flashing... On the management console it says connection status is "training" then changes to "handshaking" then "Ready to connect".. But it wont connect just keeps cycling through the above 3 status'.... anyone got any ideas?? The indian call center had some good ones!!! Never thought about turning it off and on again!!

Anyone had similar problems??

Microfilter could be knackered.. tried changing that?
Failing that could be the cable..

Did BT do a line test for you? It's not syncing, so it's definetely a connection issue somewhere.

Are you using a BT Home hub? cause they are crap!! mine kept on locking the line. Try phoning BT to have them reset the line.
