Broadband question

Right i live in a village 2 miles from the exchange and i get a BB speed of 340kb/s which is piss poor.
Yet my friend who lives 8 miles from the exchange in the area of no where gets 2meg/s.

BT sucks balls.

Oofffft sounds like you got an issue somewhere then!! Possibly battery leakage by the sounds of things
