I have been told by loads of companys i can only get 1m but that is slow as, is there any chance of getting 8m.They say its my line or something??

If you can only get 1mbit connection, then there's no way you can get an 8mbit connection. Chances are that you'll be too far away from the BT exchange to get any faster speeds. I'm stuck on 1/2mbit

I was told 2meg was my max, and i was connecting at 1.7 for ages untill i did the faceplate mod and now i connect at between 6.5 and 7.5 and its stable and my downloads fly.
