Broken something

Just noticed that my rear drivers side is way lower than usual so had a little look underneath and took some pics. Used my other phone as a ruler. Anyone got any ideas? Also, safe to drive on?

That's my guess. Typical it happens when I'm 3 hours from home

I think it's just more compressed, it's still got 5 'rings' on both sides

It wont take long to pull both of to find out which is at fault. Probably a bit late to start now though!

Shocks are less than 2 years as I've had them replaced in my ownership, springs are a bit older as they were on it already. Don't even have a Jack on me as I'm away this weekend. Staying in a wooden hut, not ideal timing!

Looks like that bottom ring on the spring has collapsed vs the other one, so the spring? Get it jacked up and you'll see for sure.

seen and heard of a few now, think mark had one on his trophy snap after not long as well?

Should be, rest of the spring is in tact still, will just put a but more strain on the shock but needs must really.
