Buffer

considering buying a buffer

like the idea of the Meguairs one thats portable but its £100 !!!

we sell some at work that are £25 and i had a play with one today and it seems ok.........

is there REALLY that much difference between the cheaper buffers and the likes of the Meguairs one ?

We sell draper ones, think motorworld stock draper stuff. I can get this at cost which is rougly half rrp, ask at work brun as draper have a promotion running atm.

The only prob i can see is that the pad is rather large, so is only good for large areas, think i might do what bodyshosp do, and get one that fits onto an agnle grinder, or a drill, much cheaper, smaller pad to work wiht too

Meguiars ones are the ones you want.. they dont just "spin" like the cheap ones. They emulate normal hand movements when waxing..

The cheap ones just spin (angle grinder with a soft end... heh).. the better ones do a proper movement.

Draper do almost anything m8, even gardening tools, you wanna have a look through the catalogue, some of the stuff is completely pointless, we always have a good laugh wiht our draoer rep, each mnonth he finds something to tell us that is even more pointless then the last

well it kinda does both, vibrates and spins, its a bit random in what it does

Orbitals are the best.

I thought the Meguiars ones were a good price - being Orbital and Cordless.

maybe if 5+ of us bought em

Those orbitals have no power and are very poor.
