Bulbs, HID look etc.. ?

Hi Guys n Gals,

Right picked up my 197 on the weekend and I love it... however just looking for some bulbs now, that look alot brighter, kind of light HID looking.

Dont want to fork out a shell but if there is any ones people reccomend?

I "Have" used the search function and searched through many threads but not sure what I need.

Basically I dont want a full on HID kit for like £50 just want to change some bulbs, also my old man wants some for his TT. What do I need to look for?

Best going with HID's mate...i've got an HID kit on my R27...works really well..

Ebay ones look great, but are so bad for light, its like fairy lights on the front. Now i've gone for HID's way better

Philips Bluevision are good, so i have heard.

what fitment do you need mate im a bulb and some other bits lol dealer do allot on cliosport with very good discount

Ok so osram nightbreakers seem to be the winners so far. Best place to buy them? Also do I need H1 + H7's... and any ideas how hard they are to change on the 197? lol

Thats wrong well for my head lights ne way my Dipped are H1 and Full are H7s but it could depend on the Headlamps you have !

Yeah know you are mate not jumpin at you lol !

Mine ne way are H1 for my main Driving/Dipped and H7 are my Full Beams but i have the Xenon style headlamps unsure what the standard silver ones are Alan would be able to tell you as hes fitted hids to his !

i messed around with the xenon 'look' and white look bulbs countless times before i just ended up with a HID kit.

save yourself the bother of having higher wattage bulbs and them blowing after a few weeks and go down the xenon route. Yeah its more expensive but you do it once and thatll be it sorted for much much longer. You cant beat the light and look of them aswell. Changing a headlight on a new shape clio is hard, avoid having to do it.
