burning a bittorent

Anyone help the video download plays on th pc but when i try to burn it i get a message saying cant find file

trying to burn the downloaded video file if i click on it i can watch it on the pc,but when i try to burn it onto a blank dvd cant get it to open in nero,dvd shrink or dvd decrypter

im guessing its a divx file, it needs to be converted to a dvd format, as KDF has said we need some more information!

Burn it as a data file. Or if that's not working, make sure you can burn anything at all.

Or convert .avi or divx files with VSO

if he wants to make his divx (which will already be an avi) into a dvd, he has to use Nero Vision, else something like winavi, to convert it to dvd format, then burn that converted audio & video folders onto a datadvd in nero, that will work

i never waste my time tryin to convert avi's,divx etc, the amount of time it takes to convert and the loss of quality makes it completely not worth it imo

i just stick to downloading dvdr's

^^^ It depends on the quality of the divx you download . I never suffer any loss of quality converting back to dvd , takes a fraction of the time of downloading a full 4.7gb

^^^Yep - I loose no quality either - when testing with my laptop linked to my TV with the AVI file played straight to it versus a dvd in my ss system^^^
