burning cd, windows media player

hi folks, right i have some music on my laptop which i would like to put onto a cd, in mp3, this is where i'm stuck! i'm using windows media player or at least trying to, but i'm a bit unsure of how to make it an mp3? if i go to burn cd one album takes up most of the cd, so how do i do it with mp3?

WMP is utter pap for burning cds, you are indeed better using roxio.
