busted alternator

the alternator has packed up at least i think thats what it is! :S does any one have any idea how much money im looking at 2 get it fixed or if its worth doing myself??

an exchange can be £50-100, but if its just the reg pack gone you can swap it yourself in 5 minutes at the cost of around £15...

i bought one like this for my 5 when the alt went...

worth checking the part numbers or asking the seller whats right for you quoting your car/alternator..
