Buying a 172....

Right, been a few of these threads from me, but this is a new situation!

Been offered a decent price for the Lupo, I would have declined but just been offered my mates one for a very good price as he needs a quick sale...

So, with selling the Lupo, and then buying the 172, extra insurance and then a full 72k service and cambelt at birchdown comes in to leave me £1100 up.

So I think I'm gonna go for it!

This is the Clio, I polished it for him a few months ago! Always liked it and always wanted a 172 so I think I'm going to do it!

Any opinions, thoughts etc?
I do really like the Lupo, has grown on me loads, but the 2 things together swings my mind.

(If Christopher reads this....lol)

It was RR'd at 189bhp before the matched inlets were put on, but I don't think it is anywhere near that high as the only thing it could have are cams, but theres no reciepts in any of the paperwork for that and there are receipts for everything else so doubt it.

It is nice, sounds amazing and very quick.

I think I will do it.

Done 65k I think. Fairly high, but I don't do a whole lot of miles myself so doesn't worry me too much in all honesty.

72k service including cambelt, aux belt, plugs and oil flush using genuine Renault parts = £700!!!

Thats at Birchdown.
I think the genuine parts bump the price up, but taking that into account along with the insurance hike leaves me with the £1100 in the bank, so its all cool.
