White Clio 1.2 @ 172
Ok, I've been offered the oppurtunity of purchasing a 182 Mk2 Ph2 for £1500 from a friend of mine which has been spooned sidewards and written off as a 'cat d' he says, I've seen pictures and it doesn't seem to be massive damage to it, but substantial enough to write it off.
I'm not interested in repairing it but I am interested in salvaging a lot of the parts from it for my Mk2 Ph1 such as the engine.
My question is, is it worth it? and potentially can I make my money back or as close to as possible.
I'm interested in salvaging the interior/engine/shafts etc but wish to sell the parts i replace on my car and the remaining off the donor care such as bonnet, wings, door!, exhaust, boot lid, front bumper.
I'm looking for peoples opinions on if they think its worth it. I'm just busy spending £1,000 on having mine resprayed so I would have to see a good return say ~£1,000-£1,500 in the sold parts to make it viable.
Apologies for the long read I never do keep things short
Kindest Regards
Dean.
