No feature's at all volume, play, stop, skip track, and only normal cd's no copy's or mp3 lol. The retail on them is around £2800. Its designed to be the best in car transport there is, been looking for one for a while cos there sooooo rare. You can plug a h900 processor into it for more functions but i think there around £3000 on there own and like rocking horse sh*t.

Think its called a fighter carbon ...could b wrong thou, i went in there and asked which one's would fit, there are only about 3 momo lift reverse's halfrauds do.

To be honest....been into car hifi for the last 8 years or so and i work in a high end Hi Fi shop, in the past its been about how loud it can go, iv'e had Jl W7's, Cerwin Vega Stroker's and a 15" RE XXX to name a few, but on a serious note i was damaging my ears.

So i decided to go from spl to sq, my current system is made up of

Alpine 7990r
Focal Utopia No 6 Kit up front
Focal Utopia 33 wx sub in focal wx box
2 x Phoenix Gold Zeropoint Zpa 0.5's amps
Phoenix Gold Eq 215 x
Chord compny cobra and rumour cable

Im finally happy with the sound im getting, Sounds the nuts.

fantastic choice mate, I would try to get a H900 personally, it makes all the difference and will give you flexibility over the PG EQ. They do crop up from time to time on TA - you can post a wanted and bump it every month

I tried to afford one but ended up getting a 7998r instead as it was a lot cheaper!!

what are the zero points like? I used to like PG stuff before getting all DLS.

Cheers fella, i had a 7998r a few years back ...was a good sounding unit, only the motor kept going wrong for the face. so then had a 9815, then a 9855 and now this.... H900's go for loads still and i would still need the eq 215x as i use it as a x over and a line driver the zpa's need a minimum 8v input.
The phoenix zpa's are the best amps iv'e heard and in my eyes the best amps they ever made. Had a pair of genesis dm's before and these are a different class, saying that though they were around £1800 each when new.

Lol i didnt quite pay £2800 for it...... But yeah that was about the retail for it.

Wish i could of got it for £280 would of saved alot a money.
When i spoke to the bloke at alpine he said there was around 100 of these sold in the uk.. so its rare'er than a trophy lol

Im 28 mate... Been there done that with the coilover dropped thing on my previous 3 cars... Need abit of comfort in my old age.

The fact they it dont play mp3's is a good thing .... on something like this it would be kinda missing the point.

its of such a high quality I cant expalin, well 24 bit DAC is somethign most people could relate to?? plus I understand its components are hand picked and they are rare as feck!

think £300 will get you 10bhp, but you need 3k to get 20bhp .....

There you go fella bit of a tight fit as the amps are massive. The crossblock is behind the sub, which is a shame as it looks the nuts but wont fit anywhere else.

Well i dont leave it anywhere, its got a tracker and uprated alarm and he sleeps in my garage with it at night.....lol
