cabasse 6cd HU in 197

does anyone have or know about the optional in dash 6cd changer which is a option on the 197
my car already had this in so just been reading the manual and on page 30 it says there is a AUX INPUT for 'listening to the sound of a video system' does anyone know where thus input is and could i use my ipod through it

Hello mate,

I have the Cabasse 6 CD Changer in my 197. I know that it does have the Auxillary function but I don't think that you can plug an IPod directly into it. I will have a look when I next use the car and see if I can be of any help.

that would be great if you can find it,i believe most of the connections are under the drivers seat and i think AUX inputs are 3.5mm jack sockets same as the headphone socket so hopefully would work but would need to keep it charged

i have a Cabasse auditorium in my 182 with aux in, i asked renault for a plug for this durrrrrrrrrrrrrr aint got a clue . so i set about finding out myself how to do it . 6 pin plug i think it was a green that locks into the yellow one
which has 3 wires in it a right side live and a left side live with earth into one plug would need to have a look at mine again for defo from this to phones then to my ipod .
