Are these radios an upgrade? ive seen some sports with them and others witha plain fronted radio but same shape. The sound from my cabasse is good until the speakers start to fart. is it worth swapping for some same fit ones-will i be able to get better louder sound. i dont wanna go down the road of big speakers and subs as i like standard cars but i also like my music loud. ahhhh thank you!

i think its the same, just the older ones don't have the sticker on them

but saying that, actually some have slightly better watt output, can't rememebr now, one model has 15, and one has 20watts, or something, my fullfat had a higher wattage than my cup

it says via a sticker on the stereo, pull your old one out and have look

My old 2002 172 had the 4x40 version with the Renault/Alpine changer under the seat, this was much better than the 182s headunit

does anybody know of any GOOD standard fit direct replacement speakers then?
