I wouldn't get too Rose tinted a view of being in Cali and owning a Honda. There may be some epic Integra's and Civics some of which have $100,000 ploughed into them but theft is ridiculous over there meaning these cars spend most of their lives hidden and the owners won't even leave them in a carpark while they go for a meal or watch a film. Smog tests and various other vehicle laws make hassle from the police constant with defect notices etc served, plus suspicion of "Honda = street racer"
