Nice, i like the yellow calipers. i was also thinking of personalising the 16v door badges yellow and black. I just wanted something different.

Its a black 04 plate to the reply above.

I actually painted my drums red too..(not cool lol) but it only has drums so why try to pretend its something different and why not make the most of what you have.
They will be covered soon though.

Most, including me use hammerite smooth, pics can be seen in a few of the brake threads on here.
You don't need to buy the caliper paint from halfrauds at all.

bet the hammerite is a lot cheaper then the caliper laquer. Does it last long? I've got a silver 182 with the cup packs and was thinking of doing my caliper, was thinking of silver?? opinions apreiciated!

Hammerite is less than a fiver for a tin in the size you want.

Do them silver, they'll look good, or other than that black.

Just put my first coat on, and currently waiting for them to dry. I just hope when i go back outside for the second coat that the kids havent nicked any of my stuff lol. How many coats do you guys recommend me applying?

Btw i ended up removing the top bolt on the caliper to release the brake pads and then just feeding newspaper around the disc to stop any unwanted drips :) seems to have worked a treat.

Come on the yellow calipers
