Calling a mobile and funny ringtone

I phoned a mobile the other day and was greeted with a talking message over the top of the ringing tone which was actually quite funny I just wondered how do you do this ?

Yeah one of our old Drs at work had some song playing over the ringing, was weird. She had no idea how it got there!

I remember on old T-mobile contracts you could pay a few pence a month to have a 'song' over your ringtone played

i beleive this is on orange at the moment and has been for sometime. I have guns and roses - live and let die playing over mine lol

any decent mixing software lets you do this

no, they're on about the ring tone the person who is calling you get through their phone

When i ring them you can hear the ringing tone in the background but this one has a voice (yorkshire) speaking along the lines of "They won't answer porbably having a pint, a sleep or having sex" etc etc wtc.. just made me laugh
