Cam belt change - Clutch feels different

Hi all,

I recently had my 182 into a main dealer and had the cambelt , Aux belt , pulleys and water pump changed. I’ve noticed now that that the clutch biting point is different and a lot lower.

Why would this be and is it to be expected?

Take the clutch cable off the lever on the gearbox, press the clutch pedal down and pull it back up a few times and then re attach the cable. Might sort it as the clutch is auto adjusting.

No it's not to be expected as the clutch and cam belt are completely unrelated

Yeah I didn’t think they were related. Why do you think it would feel different then after having the cambelt done?

Don' sort it yourself you will have paid a fortune to get it done at main dealers it' up to them to sort it !
