Cambelt change time?

Hi Guys i'm looking at buying an 03 plate 172 cup it's done 32,000 miles ruffly i was wondering if the cambelt will have to be changed since it's a 6 year old car and the cambelt change is every 5 years any advice would be great cheers!

Make sure you knock 'em down a few hundred quid on account of it being overdue age-wise.

Guess he means knock them down in price as he's going to have to pay out about 500 quid to get it done straight away or risk the cambelt snapping and leaving him with a huge bill.

Indeed. He's looking at buying a car that is overdue a belt change - it's a good lever to haggle the price down with.
