cambelt failure..the time has come!

  S'trollin on size 7s
Well the time has come to get my car fixed after the cambelt failed just before crimbo.
Ive rung the only 2 renault specialists that i know of in my area. (Bradford/Leeds) the 2 quotes i got were..
Queens service station between £1000-1500
RS murray between £1000-1200
Obviously i understand they cannot give me a precise quote until the engine is in bits n had a closer look but both these quotes i specificly asked for 'worst case scenario' prices so ,do these seem ok from other peoples experiences?,clearly RS murrays looks more appealing of the 2.
Im just wondering although they are 'specialists' in this subject ,is there anything i should consider getting done or mentioning to them at the time that they may overlook or not bother with i.e
Dephaser pulley
Or the fact of whether theyll fit full kits or not for example
Or any other suggestions?
Cheers

No mate if u work it out it pretty much works out around the same price,
Engine 500 ish
Gott get the belts done on the engine anyway to be safe £600 ish
Then pay to get the engine fitted

If you are rebuilding ect now is the time to get cams put in ect

as the belts are getting done anyway, better now than deciding to do it later and needing all belts doing again ect

but then it's extra cost to get it running ect

Ect ect

lol alot of etc's there.
yea i know what your saying, like you say more cost though. Not only that ,id have to then get it re-mapped once i got cams put in so even more expense. Ill be glad to just get it back on the road tbh, ive been without a car since it died in december :-/
and it would just mean waiting longer to get it fixed, which could just end up working against me ,the longer its left un-mobile the more chance of other things siezing up needing replacing .
