Cambelt in Aberdeen.

Hi folks, recently purchased a silver 182ff from a ford Evans halshaw down in England. They didn't have the correct tools to perform the cambelt so this was factored into the price.

So I phone up Renault Evans halshaw up here to get it booked in for the service but they are fully booked up until the 22nd of November. I would ideally want it done before then so is there any other garages in Aberdeen that have the correct tools to do the cambelt etc?

Yeah - but clarkmotorsport are not cheap, so I reckon you would have broken even in cost.

Sorry for the bump, but do clark motorsport still do belts? Their website makes them seem like just a parts supplier. Or if someone can recommend another local specialist... ?

Make the trip south to SWR in stirling some of the guys swear by them

Go to Ness Renault in Elgin mate, they've got a great rep with the NE guys.

Thanks. I've booked it in to SWR next month. They were a lot cheaper than what I had heard a timing belt change would be on here!

I've used both SWR for my 172 cup - top lads and know there stuff, Ness motors in Elgin for my 182 supplied by them - took them 2 days to go slowly and make sure it was right and it was.

SWR said it would be done the same day if I got in early
