cambelt price

Just rang up renault to check what price theyd change my cambelt for, and for £300 they said theyd do the aux + cambelt, but the water pumps extra....i thought it came with the cambelt change?

No the water pump is not included as i'm getting mine all sorted this weekend, i'm getting the water pump changed at the same time as well. 300 note is a good price from renault!

£300 is VERY cheap from a dealer. i was quoted £700 from my local renualt. but yes pump is a option

edit: just seen its a 1.6 sorry thats me thinkg 1#2. Pump is still option tho

yeah its a 1.6 which is why im thinking i could probably get it for cheaper elsewhere

i got quoted a 1er from a little garage run by 2 old boys they done an engine conversion on my fiesta. 150 quid for the enginee & 170 for the labour

And got quoted to fit it for £70.

So £125 fitted.

£300 for a dealers a good price for a 1.6 after all its not a quick job the 1.2 is much quiker job to do.
