Surely that is just risking damaging the engine futher!
dont think there is a haynes manual for the late clios!only mk1:SHaynes manual it. Should only take a couple of hours to drain it, strip the head, inlet and aux bits off.....

most/all the exhast valves will be bent, never seen one yet damage a valve guide and never seen a damaged piston from a snapped belt. or should i say never seen it damage it in a way that will cause problems bent rod etc
you obviously dont no how valves in new engines are designed they are designed to bend the valve head not the stem damege to the rest of the engine is very unlikly and i dont appreciate your comments i am giving advice from a professional pont of view to help him out. what do you do for a living cos you obviously dont know any thing about engine.Another quality mechanic! You don't work at a stealers do you Nath?

Yep there one for the Mk2 phase 1 and Mk2 phase 2. Doesn't over RS models thoughdont think there is a haynes manual for the late clios!only mk1:SHaynes manual it. Should only take a couple of hours to drain it, strip the head, inlet and aux bits off.....
RR enough said there about as accurate as numbers out of a nat withoutn comparisonsiStarted her up - had her rolling roaded and the print out was 143bhp.......... and this is on a standard valver. Explain that one! lol.
Valves will have been bent, theres no point putting a new belt on it before you've stripped the head off.

So, I bring my car into your garage with a snapped cambelt. You put a new belt on and it f**ks the guides because you're too incompetant to just do the job instead of skip ratting it. You now have to put new guides in and f**k about with the head checking for cracks.
Obviously, I know nothing having rebuilt engines myself. It's a contact engine, piston hits valve, valve bends. End of.....
