Cambelt tensioner pulley problem clio 04 1.2 8v

  RENAULT CLIO
The cambelt tensioner pulley must of came loose when turning off the engine would this damaged the engine in anyway? The car will not start now

Also would a 1.5 dci diesel starter motor fit this clio?
