No more clio's for me!
Hi All,
Had my car booked in today for a cambelt change, with an independent garage, car was all set for the change, got the kit, car in pieces. Then the sh*te hit the fan...(bare with my technical description, what i know about engines isn't much!!) on the back of (or some where on) the tension spring for the aux belt is some kind of 'thing' which requires a renault tool to remove, according to all sources this tool is not on general sale and the 'thing' can only be removed at renault dealers!!! Because you can't get the 'thing' off, you can't get to the cambelt!!!
So instead of costing £145 fully fitted its gonna cost £350 at Renault!!!!
Any ideas??
