Cambelt

if running about 170 bhp would you recomend an uprated cambelt or will a standard one do fine?

standard renault cam belt is fine mate. Why what you thinking of doing

headwork, cams and pullys and i dont know what else! also new induction kit and make my engine bay mint! my clio is off the road now so i can just work on it and take my time. only problem is i am driving around in a vtr!!

if ur gettin pulleys etc get an uprated one last longer

I would only bother with uprated cambelt if you are changing to solid lifters, which is only likely if you are going for a really hairy cam profile! unless its a similar price I would just go for a good quality standard version of belt
