Cambelt

Hi all,

I have a clio sport 197 and I'm asking myself how much does it cost to change the cambelt? With how many miles do I need to change it? Can somebody recommend me where I can do it?

Is there any way to check the cambelt to know if it's OK or not?

I live close to Oxford.

5/6 years (dependeing on when the car was registered) or 72k miles, whichever you get to first. Either way, a 2007 197 is overdue a belt change by now, did you buy it recently?

There are LOTS of threads on this here and over on 197.net. Price wise you're looking somewhere about £500.

No, there is no easy way to check the timing belt. If in doubt, get it changed!
