Yes. It's 60k (iirc?) miles OR 5 years.

Why?

Its not mission critical and can be done without touching the SCARY timing belt, just the aux.

Some people do it as it's just the added cost of the pump as there is no extra labour etc to pay

Fair enough, though I would be more concerned with this if it was the 72k interval had been reached rather than just 5 years.

This is a very low mileage IMO to bother looking at pumps

23k's on the clock the water pumps hardly even spun ! - save your cash and leave it imo

not charging labour for swapping the waterpump? eh? you sure, they're a bit of a t**t, i charge an hour plus you have £45 of coolant on top

My bad I thought the reason people did it was because labour was cheaper while the belts were being done

As for doing it at 23k then I agree with others that it won't need to be touched....
