Anyone know the latest on the ‘banning of the speed camera detectors?’

I read about a bill that was trying to be past, that would ban some of them again, such the ones that intercept the safety camera vans (not that I have one).

Goverment trying to put a bill thru, part of that will not effect the GPS ones that tell you where the camera are, but will make radar detectors ones that tell if they are turned on ie. Snooper S5-R illegal. There is alot of other stuff so could take year to go through at least. Even then how the police going to tell what type you have.
