Camera Help :)

I was looking through some of the functions on my camera as im one of these point and press people.

Pressed a button and 2 options came up on the screen.

Dis Mode
On (( ))
Off (( ))

But in the brackets there is a little picture of a hand. Both are exactly the same but ones obviously on and off. Anyone know ? :dapprove:
