Camera/PC Problems

Took some pics with my digital camera, put it in the USB cradle, but it wont allow me to download camera images. Now the weird thing is, when I power the camera up in the cradle, the webcam features work absolutely fine, so the PC is obviously recognising the cradles there, so why can't I download any images?

Camera is a Pentax Optio X. Software I'm using with it is ACDSee.

i use windows camera and scanner software thts built into XP myself mate! try that maybe?

On my camera the webcam works when the camera's in record/shoot mode.

The images only download in review/playback mode. The windows camera and scanner software only fires up once the camera's in that mode.

That sounds like it's not got the right drivers for it, otherwise it would say the model.

Just checked out the Pentax Site, there's no driver for my model of camera to download... wtf?!
