Cammed Cup - Sports Cat to De-Cat question

  Yozza Powered 172 CUP
Hi all,

I've currently got Se7even172s former Cup.

http://www.yozzasport.co.uk/upload/specsheets/yozzasport_2.php

Approx 200 bhp cammed, with a Yozza Road System.

The system cracked and the welder did a bit of a bodge job.

I'm thinking of a new exhaust with a decat rather than the Sports Cat it already has.

The piggy back management is a SMT2? i believe.

Would i need to get the car mapped again for the new exhaust and decat?

Also for power which exhaust would you guys recommend?

Thanks in Advance - Alan.

Ps If there is a Birmingham meet i would be interested

the system cracked?

bin that SMT6 and get it mapped by RS tuning

Yep unfortunately, started hearing a strange noises from under the car couple of weeks back and took it to a "local" garage, never the less, the system now hangs low and the back pressure is completely messed up so i'm in the process of claiming £100 from them.

Been out the scene for a while - but would RS Tuning remap the standard ECU or provide a different piggy back unit?

they would throw the piggyback in the bin, tell you its the devil and remap the stock ecu

where's it cracked? you spoke to yozzasport?

Haha, so they have strong negative feelings against the piggy back system...must be all this swine flu talk.

Leeds it is then, i'll contact them for a quote.

Nope its not Yozzas issue really, are their exhausts still the ones to have?

considering i did at one stage co-own the company i would say yes ;)

i've got my own company now up by birmignham airport, so if you ever need anything give me a shout (my power steering return line is on your car by the way ;))
