Camshaft pros and cons

  Renault Clio 1.4 16v
Changing camshaft on my 1.4 16v pros and cons?
And
Changing the fuel injectors to a 1.6 clios?

Utterly pointless. Just buy a Renaultsport, they cost less to buy than the cams, fitting and mapping on the 1.4.

  Clio Trophy
i take it as you drive a 1.4 its due to being young and needing cheap insurance? so you will be telling them you have modified your car? would cost you more to insure than buying a 182 in 1st place

...... BHP Vs Cost no, the gains are not worth it, and it would all be custom one off work, as i doubt very many people have done it, unless you are doing all the work yourself?

Standard response you will get on here.
1. Not worth it, buy a Cliosport.
2. Its a ****** you drive, whats the point.

And then the one that always grinds my gears, usually the self righteous type who were usually molly coddled by their parents to be a good boy or girl.

3. I hope you're going to tell your insurance about that.

All 3 usually can't do the work themselves or can't pull in favours from friends. IMO if you like tinkering and can't afford another car etc for insurance then fire on, I would personally throw in a 1.6 engine or similar as it will be a fairly quick job and more cost efficient.
