Camshaft replacement without any remap ?

Hi all,

I need to change my timing belt soon. I'm wondering if there is any interest in changing the camshafts at the same time, but I don't want to perform any remap on my standard OEM ECU. Is there any interest in changing the cams if I don't make any remap ? how much gain can I expect ? For information my engine has the following mods :

- ITG filter in the OEM airbox,
- 80mm hose to the airbox, with a 100mm scoop in front
- Machined inlet.

utterly pointless. It will be worse than standard unless you remap

would the car still be driveable ie driving the car 100km or so to be mapped?

No, I just wanted to install the camshafts and that's it. I have nobody to remap the car close to my place, and I don't want to spend an extra 500 or 600€ for this ...
