Camshafts question

  Clio 172 MK II
I`m looking for piper camshaft, but while search board for some more info I saw that people say that AWT cams are better.

Can someone explain me why, and give me a link to the web page od some dealer or directly from manufacturer?

Thank you in advance

Rain

AWT is a compnay BenR on the forum owns the carms are better designed ask ben how as I don't understand him once he starting going on but he'll be able to explain it.
I'd definatly go for his cams though I know 2 two liters the same work to both of them but one had pipers and made 195hp the other with AWT cams made 210hp or there abouts.

What were both cars doing before any work? It's well documented that each car can have a wildly different bhp figure for the same model. Difficult comparing one car with another, even same model.
The Pipers are a bit 'rattley' by all accounts too.

I just send BenR some questions thru pm, we will see what will he say, and, most important of all, is he willing to send them to Croatia ;)

I have some cams on order with them at the moment. They are billet cams and are currently being made. They are about £700 inc VAT and delivery I think but then i'm getting them fitted for cheap. It's well over a grand to have them fitted with AWT/GDI.

Both were about even I think.
Both cars had manifold and head work along with the usual exhausts and Ik plus a custom remap so they should have been dead even only difference was the cams.
