Just ordered my new clio should get it in 6-8 weeks its the 1.6 cant wait just been checking out lowering springs any ideas ive got the g-max 35mm on the one at the mo looking to go 40-50mm Ste.

Good choice mate. You souldnt be disappointed. Youll notice a big difference in performance against the 1.2. Mine was really tight when new. Run it in as per the book to 600 odd miles then start to build it up in stages to the red line over the next 200- 300 miles. Youll find that it really starts to slacken off at around 2.5K. Ive just done under 3k with mine so planning a filter and oil change pretty soon (Mobil1 0W40).

I actually have more fun with this than the 172 as it looks like a bog standard Clio from a distance. Pisses some of the big boys off in larger engined heavier cars! BTW, mine is a 2003 gold with climate and xenons. Paid a tad over 11K for mine

thats good, i paid £8390 for my 1.4 16v with met paint on the road, wish i had gone for the 1.6 with all the trimmings!

Yeah you get aircon as standard. Take it that 10k is from a renault dealer, thats a good price mate, arent you in NW??? Which dealer you getting it from??
