Yeah, and I synced it up without whatsapp on then with it back on.

As in hold down power and home button for about ten seconds. Like resetting a pc. Make sure u let go of the home button as it powers on otherwise you'll put it into DFU mode

damn phone has done it to the YouTube app now.

Try plugging your phone into your computer and opening iTunes. Select your phone from the devices menu, click the 'apps' tab and delete it from the list.

Did another sync without the apps that weren't loading, then put them back on and it seems to have worked...

It got all the way to the end of the install bar and then went back to the start and is now how it was before

I literally have no idea.

Apple systems seems to be running fine, all other apps are now sorted including YouTube.

App Store is supposedly running fine too.
