Can anyone shine a light on this??

Sometimes when i'm on my way to work I pullup to a jct, when just about to set off there is a slight clunk/knock noise? and when I pull up to stop the sometimes happens again??

It seems to mostly happen just as you let your clutch out?

I wondered if it was a mount gone? but I have an uprated lower mount..

Probly small front gearbox mount it is made from chocolate !!!

I have the 'dog bone' mount uprated, its something which is causing the movement when stopping and starting?

When you brake and come to a compleate stop its causing theis clunk/knock sound?

Are the upper gearbox and engine mounts uprated as well?

i get it in the meg too, be one of the mounts or roll bar or something, i'll get fred to check it lol

most likely be the anti roll bar

I had something similar to that until I got the ARB bushes replaced - might/might not be your problem but something to check?

Might try them then see if it stops it...how much are they

Check the exhausts mounts too. My centre exhaust mount was knackered and I use to get occasional knock.

By chance at the time I got a full set of new ones off here for about £20

Check your ball joints & trackrod ends too as that's what I was getting replaced for MOT at the same time so not 100% it was the bushes on their own.

on the last MOT they said a ball joint had slight play in it! so it might be that!

ECU bracket? Mine did the same and was this pathetic weak bracket
