Can i fit 17inch alloys

Hello girlfriend has decided she wants alloys on her 1.6 rxe s reg clio
she wants 17 inch ones, but someone told her they wont fit, has anyone got 17's on there car

If anything you might need to add spaces but thats it.

changed from 15's on my 172 to 17's with a 205/45 tyre no problems

i had to put 6mm spacers on as 'proper' driving had them rubbing the inner arch liner just a little.
