can i lower or not?

Is it possible to lower my clio on apex springs all round? just been told that i cant lower the back because it has a torsion bar and it isnt a straight swap of springs, and it is a big job? could someone put this straight with me so i know i can or not? thanks

it's only mk1 clios that have torsion bar rears, which aren't THAT hard to lower anyway

dads step bro - worked on cars for years, so i thought ok, but then thought LOADS of you guys have lowered so i thought it cant be on torsion bar.

what do eibach sportlines lower it on, some say 20-60, so what will it be roughly??

i was going to go with 40mm apex but now im thnking eibach sportlines, can you tell me what the sportlines will roughly lower my 1.2 by pls mate or do they all vary??

lol i am useless at things like that mate plus i dont have the tools to do it. I can probly get me sisters boyfriend tofit them but i was just wondering how much a garage would charge if he couldnt do it??

i did, but thought i would make sure iinstead of buying springs and wasting money...

I ran 60mm springs on standard shocks for about a year, hard ride but was fine.

No problems with speed bumps or passengers either, handled like a go-kart!
