The plate with the round hole in it behing the left side headlight, by the air filter.
I could do with it not being there to fit my cold air feed better..

Has anyone else done it?

Is the only issue relocating the ground points?

Its all welded in. You cant unbolt it.
Just chop to top part off. If you do it neatly you and need to relocat the earthing wires.

Don't do it, it's really not worth chopping bits out just to relocate a CAF.

Why not fit a reduction section in through the hole and carry it on that way? Won't affect flow really.

Not really, just stick the pipe at the hole, then cover up the top and you have a nice little box behind the headlight
