Washing machines tend to kill them after a while, hand wash it and hang it out to air dry it will last longer.

i usually just give it a rinse once im done with it and hang it up using a clothes peg.

i have a sonus sheepskin mit and its starting to shed? i hand washit and let it air dry but its still starting to drop haits, ive only bloody used it 3 times?
any ideas how to resue it or preserve it?

You get good ones and bad ones - some die early ! I have had some that last years and others that last a few washes !

Drying them out properly after use tends to prolong there life.
