....have the tweeters still plugged in at the dash in my phase 2 clio and have the door speakers front and back removed fitted simply by installing new co-axial ones? i cant be bothered switching other to components etc just want to improv the spaker sound

Yes. But if you fit co-axs it will be very very trebley! lol.

impedance will also be out so you'll damage the speakers and make it sound worse
