Can not decide!!

  182 Cup Racing Blue
Should I go for a clio 172 Cup at £8500 with only 15,000 miles on the clock and in mint condition or should I go for a clio 182 at £9000 with only 11,000 miles on the clock and also...you guessed it in mint condition. EVO mag say that the standard 182 is their favourite....but what 182 is the best, so many different packages..cup............o and another question where has the link for all the cliosstats gone!!!since the site has been updated can't find the link anywhere!!! cheers.Adam

Has the 182 got cup packs?

What car would you prefer stripped out 172 cup or the full fat of a 182 with toys?

That cup seems really over priced tbh, its prob worth about 7-7.5k tbh.

Is the 182 normal, or does it have the cup packs ? I'd say 182 tbh.

Think the 182 is just the standard one. The 182 cup comes with better suspension and a few spoilers....am I right???

What colour are the wheels on it ??
If they are anthracite its deffo got one of the cup packs on it.

I can't remember what the other 'cup pack' is:eek:

Hi mate, personally i would go for the 182 (i did!!) you wont be disapointed. I do think the 172 is a good car from what i have heard and seen, but the 182 is newer and could possibly still have some warranty left on it? also you have got the love the newer extras on the 182, i.e the twin pipes.....

I got a 182 cup, 04 plate. 18000 on the clock from a dealer for 9500 full years tax etc etc etc. its a great car and im really happy with it, altho im payin a bomb for insurance as im 19!!! had it a month and its perfect....

the 182 could have "cup" packs, which means it has a better spoiler and the suspension and wheel hubs are different.

the 182 cup is a different car, so this 182 could have cup packs.

Personally i'd go for the 182 if it had the cup packs, but i have driven neither.

Ask yourself one question:- Toys? If you want them, go 182, if not, go 172 Cup (but not at that price the seller is taking the P1$$!!! The thing to remember is, if you get the Cup, you'll always wonder well, what if I bought the 182, and likewise with the 182, you'll wonder What if I'd bought the 172 Cup.

Take the 2 out for a spin, see what you like, and ask if you like the low rent interior of the Cup. I wish I'd got the Cup with some form off Climate Control and Lumbar support...but thats me! :)

If the 182 has Cup packs then it's a tough choice, what colour is it in?

The 172 Cup is over priced, but if you could knock him down, then get the Cup, you won't regret it, after all, real men get the Cup ;)

  BMW M3
Just wondering....

Many are saying "get the 182 if its got cup packs"

Ive got a 182 non-cup and it handles very well. Ive have also driven a 172 cup and 182 cup and tbh on the few corners that i through it at, i couldnt tell any difference.

People having owned both.... are they really that different?

  RenaultSport Clio 172 CUP
172 cup should be a bit different from what i heard :) an in the wet no ABS rocks trust me :)

  BMW M3
I sometimes wish i didnt have ABS. In the wet, it kicks in too early and when the pedal pulses, it feels that it is increasing it stopping distance. Also, when braking going over bumps, it can kick in and its annoying.

But, its probably saved me more times then i know lol
