***Can Someone Tell Me What This Is***

Someone PLEASE help me out on 2 fronts:

1) What is this?

2) Is it supposed to rattle around in my engine like its got nuffin better to do!?

that be your ecu cover and no its not supposed to rattle around take it back to renault and they will sort it they had to do it with mine

i had exactly the same problem only didnt get it sorted straight away as i only had the car a couple of days, it rubbed through the loom on mine so take it back an get it sorted!

Its not the ECU as far as I remember the ECU is over behind the batery.

Its as far as I can see its the imobiliser It should have a security bracket round it.

mine does that, cant b bothered to take it back though i jus keep gettin out the car to put it back on!!

its the injection ecu anti tamper cover. the ecu on the 1.2 16v is screwed into the rear of the inlet manifold. the cover should be secure and not rattle around.
