Can someone who is good at photoshop help me?

Could someone select just the badge on this photo for me? I can only get it to pick up the top layer and not the sides so it just looks like a flat T and not a 3d badge. I want to use it in another image. If you can get both T's in one image that would be even better but one is good enough as I can just copy and paste it to have 2

Use the magic wand? Its pretty good for that..

Cut around it then and stop doing it the lazy way.

ahh i couldnt get the lasso tool to work but just tried the polygonal one and success thanks for suggestion

Using pad of MacBook so haven't got massive control so the polygonal lasso was good as can click then move kinda thing. It turned out great anyway
