Can the Idle Control Valve Be Cleaned?

Mine is making a strange noise. Can it be cleaned or is it a bin job?

Very simple, take the hose off that runs from the inlet hose to the back of the plenum, 2 bolts holding it on, undo those and it will pop off, give it a blast with carb cleaner and refit.
