Can this be converted?

Is there a way you can convert a printer designed to run on a Macintosh to work with a normal pc ?

Some kind of converter or cable maybe?

Found a Alps Micro dry printer but its designed to run on a MAC OS and i only have a normal PC :(

The thing that confuses me is Alps made a Mac version and a normal version of the model im looking at.
If it was compatable why would they need to make 2 versions? or is it more the other way about where if i was running a Mac and had a ''normal'' printer then it wouldnt work?

Found a review here of the differences:

The PC versions have a bi-directional interface, and are DOS, Windows(R), and Windows 95 compatible. The Macintosh versions have a SCSI interface and are ColorSync 2.0 compatible.
