Canon EF 75-300 USM

Just been offered one for £70 in mint condition.

Anyone know much about them?

I really need a telephoto for Silverstone and Rockingham next week and was going to get the Sigma 70-300 APO but now this has come up.

It doesnt seem too bad but photos arent very sharp.

I am thinking that I should probably just save for a 70-200 F4L or 70-300IS but need it for next week.

Do places hire lenses out?

Hmmm never held or seen one but I've heard it described as Canons worst lens many a time. The Sigma gets plenty of good reviews as great value for money. From the sounds of it you'll just want to sell the 75-300 in a week..

The 70-200 F4 currently has £40 cashback until the 31st, might be worth seeing if Kerso can get a decent quote, I swear its gone up in price, was £320 last year not £399!

Yeh it is mk 3 USM BUT i'm not that impressed really unless anyone tells me otherwise.

Might just save up for a 70-200 F4L.
